Paris FC 0 - 0 Lyon: Greif keeps Lyon level as Paris control everything but the scoreboard

Paris FC 0 - 0 Lyon, and the point matters more than the scoreline suggests.

On September 12 at Stade Jean Bouin, two unbeaten Ligue 1 sides protected their early-season records, but they did it in very different ways. Paris FC had the ball, the territory and the cleaner rhythm. Lyon had Dominik Greif, a compact defensive block and enough discipline to leave the capital still sitting third.

Greif decides the point

The cards changed the temperature

For Paris FC, the performance was stronger than the result. Rosenior’s side looked organised, brave in possession and secure behind the ball. The concern is obvious: control has to become goals.

For Lyon, Fonseca gets the away clean sheet and the unbeaten run continues: DWDW after four rounds. But 1 shot on goal is not a title-race package. If Lyon want to stay close to Monaco and Rennes, they will need more from the attacking line than containment and late substitutions.
